Fall is officially here! It’s apple picking season and we’re here for it!
With no signs of the pandemic coming to an end anytime soon, we’ve decided to become tourists of our wonderful NYC and the surrounding areas. A great family activity is apple picking. It’s perfect for all ages.
A short 30-minute drive north of Westchester landed us at Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard in Croton Falls, NY. It’s the perfect way to spend a few hours outside enjoying the fresh air with family. The farm store is open 7 days a week and doesn’t require reservations. We enjoyed cider, donuts, and homemade pretzels. The weather was warm and the scenery (as you can see below) is picture worthy. Not too mention, the apples we picked made for a few yummy desserts in the weeks to follow.
